I'm so happy that you are here. Let's be honest, 2020 has been a year that not many are overly fond of. At the beginning of this year, I made the decision to step back from the hustle and bustle of creating and selling at markets. I wanted to focus on learning new things and testing out techniques I've always wanted to try but never had the time to. This was going to be 'my leap year' into new discoveries. Then Covid hit and all creativity and focus flew out the window, I didn't have to worry about regretting not doing any markets as there were none to miss. It took me awhile to find my way back to the loom and to my dye pots but through that process I decided to revamp my website and change my domain to reflect that I am a proud Canadian. Now more than ever I feel it's so necessary to support 'Canadian' as we, as a country, have so much to offer!
It has been a year full of reckoning, a year that has brought to light what we've taken for granted....an innocent coffee spent catching up with friends, family gatherings and hugs...oh, how I yearn for hugs. For me, I am so grateful to have my craft to sooth my soul through this trying time. I haven't got to all that I had planned this year, but at least I found my way back and will continue to work through all that I've got pinned to my vision board well into 2021.
My wish for you, as we close this year, is that you are able to find a way to celebrate the holidays with your family and friends...together but apart. Stay healthy my friends! ❤️
